Enterprise Solutions Architect

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to work across Application Development Service Delivery and Infrastructure to identify research discuss design and implement key architecture standards.

• 7 years of enterprise solutions experience knowledge around data processing platforms dictionary systems and applications Multi-cloud experience.
• Experience designing integration strategies for disparate systems applications and data sources across the enterprise
• Proven track record leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives cloud migrations or enterprise modernization programs from start to finish is preferred
• Ability to make informed decisions under uncertainty weigh multiple factors/constraints and consider long-term implications of architectural choices
• Knowledge of electronic data processing platforms and software
• Experience in government or regulatory environments
• Knowledge of database/data dictionary systems and applications
• Knowledge of application portfolio management software design patterns application integration legacy system modernization and application lifecycle management
• Knowledge of data modeling data governance master data management data warehousing analytics platforms and data quality frameworks
• Knowledge of infrastructure components platforms development tools middleware and technology standards (on-prem and cloud-based tech stacks)
• Ability to prepare clear accurate and informative reports/documentation on database systems including creation/maintenance of data dictionary documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with various levels of personnel
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to maintain essential records and files
• Ability to learn how to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency
• Ability to read write speak understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position

• TOGAF Certification Certified Enterprise Architect or similar recognized credentials
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certifications
• Multi-cloud experience (particularly valuable)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software development lifecycle practices
• Comfort presenting to executive leadership board members or external stakeholders
• Ability to communicate complex technical strategies in business terms

• The individual in this role will require a combination of deep technical expertise business acumen and leadership skills requiring someone who can think strategically while understanding the practical implications of architectural decisions across the entire organization.

• Designing integration strategies for disparate systems applications and data sources across the enterprise

• Establishing common interfaces architecture principles data standards and best practices

• Supporting senior management on complex technology initiatives and investment decisions

• Creating an architecture review process to evaluate proposed solutions against standards and strategic objectives

• Collaborating with the security team to ensure solutions meet organizational and regulatory requirements
