Job Summary
Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Flushing NY
Pay Rate: $28/hour
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Schedule: Day Shift Monday to Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (5x8 Hours)
Facility Type: Outpatient Medical Group (Urology Preferred)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Medical Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Flushing NY.
Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for visits and document medical history
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as vital signs injections and specimen collection
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical protocols
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- COVID-19 Vaccination (Required Medical Exemptions Only)
- Flu Vaccination (Required Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Previous Urology experience (Highly Preferred)
