The Center for Korea Studies (CKS) in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Scholar appointment from September 16 2026 through September 15 2027 (a twelve-month service period). The appointee will engage in research contribute to instructional activities as appropriate and support the broader academic mission of the Center for Korea Studies.
The thematic scope of the position remains intentionally flexible. Illustrative areas of engagement include but are not limited to:
- Research and working on publication
- Participate in the CKS colloquia series as a speaker during the appointment
- Participating in CKS programs events and affiliated academic activities
- Contributing to initiatives that enhance the visibility and institutional presence of Korea Studies at the University of Washington
The annual salary for this position is $68460
Postdoctoral scholars are represented by UAW 4121 and are subject to the collective bargaining agreement unless agreed exclusion criteria apply.
