Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions within a fast-paced food distribution center. This role supports daily operations by managing employee relations recruitment compliance and HR processes to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations including employee relations staffing and compliance
• Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing interviewing and onboarding
• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies procedures and concerns
• Ensure compliance with federal state and local labor laws and company policies
• Manage employee performance coaching and disciplinary processes
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational goals
• Coordinate and support training and development initiatives
• Monitor attendance turnover and other HR metrics to identify trends and improvements
• Foster a positive workplace culture and promote employee engagement

Qualifications

• 35 years of HR experience preferably in a warehouse distribution or manufacturing environment
• Previous leadership or management experience required
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
• Experience with high-volume recruiting preferred
• Excellent communication conflict resolution and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
