Position SummaryCustomer service representative responsible for all activitiesrelative to student account Office Mission: To provide courteous quality billing and payment service while supporting the educational goals of Sacred Heart University through the implementation of policies and procedures in an effective and efficient Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist population of 10K students/parents/customers courteously politely and professionally via e-mail phone and and efficiently respond to all customer inquiries and disputes while enforcing university policies and procedures in a respectful and professional student accounts to advise/guide student/family to meet financial obligations (ex: billing statement payment plan enrollment).Evaluate student account accuracy to authorize financial clearances for registration graduation (diploma release) transcript release accurate records of customer interaction( directly with customer or indirectly through university communications).Enter/Review student overpayment ( credit balance vouchers) this include compliance with Title IV Federal Department of Education financial aid all customers in all capacities courteously politely and professionally with awareness of the confidential nature of the subject University policies and procedures in a respectful and professional duties as Skills Abilities & Other AttributesAssociates degree required; Bachelors degree customer service effective communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal Microsoft Suite (primarily Excel and Outlook) Education work experience is a -lingual (English/Spanish/Other) a plusTeam attention to at multi-tasking and analytical/math and ability to use social media/end-user applications initiative and problem-solving Working ConditionsFast-paced and high-volume office. Office hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
