Job Summary
Job Purpose
To establish monitor and enhance planning effectiveness across Manufacturing and Service departments by ensuring structured planning accurate reporting and performance tracking
Key Responsibilities
Planning Governance & Coordination
- Ensure both Manufacturing and Service departments develop clear realistic and data-driven plans (production plans maintenance schedules resource allocation).
- Facilitate alignment between departments on planning assumptions priorities and constraints.
- Standardize planning templates tools and methodologies across departments.
Performance Monitoring & Control
- Track plan vs. actual performance across all KPIs (production service execution utilization delivery etc.).
- Identify gaps in:
- Production planning and adherence
- Maintenance scheduling
- Resource utilization
- Material availability and delivery tracking
- Highlight deviations and escalate critical risks to management.
Reporting & Data Integrity
- Enforce timely submission of monthly reports from both departments.
- Review reports for:
- Accuracy
- Completeness
- KPI alignment
- Consolidate and present a management-level performance dashboard.
- Ensure data consistency across all KPIs and reporting sections.
Planning Improvement & Optimization
- Analyze inefficiencies such as:
- Production delays
- Low team utilization
- Poor schedule adherence
- Inaccurate job duration estimates
- Propose actionable improvements using best practices.
- Drive implementation of:
- Planning tools (ERP/MRP scheduling trackers)
- Standard planning cycles (weekly/monthly)
- Forecasting methods
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or related field
- 10-15 years experience in:
- Production planning / maintenance planning / operations control
- Experience in both manufacturing and service environments is highly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excel / ERP / planning tools knowledge
- KPI design and performance tracking
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis
- High attention to detail and discipline enforcement
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or related field 10-15 years experience in: Production planning / maintenance planning / operations control Experience in both manufacturing and service environments is highly preferred
