Job Summary
Job Title: Clinical Research Specialist

Day-to-day work focuses on direct communication with researchers and investigators remote study monitoring data review internal system management and documentation support with occasional ethics or regulatory coordination as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular outreach and maintain direct communication with researchers investigators and external study partners
- Review and evaluate clinical research protocols and IRB/ethics submissions at a working level
- Monitor and update studies within internal research management systems
- Review and validate clinical and research data; identify and flag risks or data quality issues proactively
- Prepare summaries and reports to support the research team
- Support research documentation and compliance-related activities
- Adapt to evolving research priorities and contribute to process improvements
- Leverage AI tools and modern analytics to enhance research workflows
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Science Pharmacy Medical Sciences or a related field strong academic background is a priority
- 26 years of experience in clinical research research operations or a related field
- Hands-on experience with remote study monitoring or data review (on-site CRA experience is not the focus)
- Familiarity with IRB/ethics submissions and regulatory documentation at a working level
- Experience using CTMS EDC or similar internal research management systems
- Comfortable initiating and maintaining direct communication with researchers and study partners
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to data quality and integrity
- Tech-savvy and open to AI-enabled research workflows
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable working in a startup-style environment with evolving SOPs
- Able to work aligned with GMT1 collaboration hours
Nice to Have
- Background in data science or statistical analysis
- Experience in medical device biotech or health technology research
- Prior experience in a remote or non-traditional research environment
