Role Summary
The Principal Service Delivery Data & Analytics is a senior customerfacing individual contributor who owns complex Data & Analytics solutions endtoend from problem discovery and solution shaping through handson execution.
This role works directly with airline customers to understand business and operational challenges recommend and sell technically sound solutions and personally lead delivery execution including writing production code. The Principal operates with high autonomy and is trusted with Sabres most complex highimpact customer engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Solution Ownership
- Act as a trusted technical and delivery advisor to airline customers.
- Lead problem discovery and translate business needs into scalable Data & Analytics solutions.
- Shape recommend and support selling of solutions aligned to customer value and platform capabilities.
- Build customer trust through technical credibility transparency and consistent execution.
HandsOn Technical Leadership
- Serve as technical owner for complex initiatives across IX RI Prism TDB TDS and MI.
- Lead solution design architecture and implementation decisions.
- Write productionquality Java and Python code for critical components and integrations.
- Review and guide delivery engineer work to ensure quality performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex crosssystem issues in customer environments.
Delivery Ownership
- Own delivery outcomes for implementations migrations enhancements and recovery engagements.
- Drive execution planning dependency management risk identification and issue resolution.
- Ensure delivery aligns with product readiness platform constraints and customer timelines.
CrossFunctional Leadership
- Partner with Product Engineering Architecture and SRE to unblock delivery challenges.
- Influence technical and delivery decisions through expertise rather than formal authority.
- Contribute to delivery standards best practices and continuous improvement.
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong handson Java experience; Python for data and automation.
- Cloudnative architecture experience (Kubernetes Docker microservices).
- Expertise in data platforms streaming and eventdriven architectures.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience delivering enterprise integrations and APIdriven platforms.
- Airline industry experience required.
