Job Description:
This job is responsible for overseeing and influencing the adoption and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the Global Risk Management (GRM) organization. This role will support GRM AI Technician in their participation in the enterprise AI Catalyst Program and drive enterprise-aligned AI initiatives that enhance risk capabilities improve operational efficiency and ensure responsible growth. This role requires deep expertise in AI and data science strong cross-functional influence and a proven ability to navigate complex governance frameworks. Job expectations include demonstrating leadership promoting the adoption of generative AI and possessing a commitment to responsible growth for the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Support the GRM AI Champion and work with the GRM AI Champion Execution team in the execution of GRMs activities related to the banks AI Catalyst Program.
Partner with the GRM AI Execution team to refine GRM AI ideas that were submitted by GRM associates assign value through business case development risk rate and stack order the GRM AI ideas carefully evaluate the business cases to ensure we are not duplicating existing technology at the bank and ultimately determine the ideas to move forward with.
Communicate with the sponsors of the ideas we are not going forward with the decision and the why.
Finalize business cases for the top ideas with stakeholders.
Define and implement KPIs to measure AI adoption performance and value creation across GRM.
Continuously assess peer and industry AI trends to ensure GRM remains competitive and forward-looking in its AI capabilities.
Lead specific Gen AI model development efforts to support GRM.
Collaborate with the Artificial Intelligence Model Development Executive (AI-MDE) function to leverage insights from various parts of the enterprise to better support and refine GRM AI initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
10 years of Risk Management Technology and/or Data Science experience in the financial services industry including 5 years of Bank of America specific experience
Artificial Intelligence: Skilled across non-generative AI generative AI and agentic AI disciplines; Understands key platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio and Orchestra AI; able to partner with ERFT to evaluate and determine the most appropriate platform for GRM use cases
Able to identify and objectively assess AI ideas that are infeasible overstated or low value and make defensible decisions to deprioritize them; Capable of stack-ranking AI ideas in a logical and objective manner
Executive Presence
Ability to build trusted relationships with key Risk Management stakeholders influence outcomes provide effective challenges and communicate difficult decisions with clarity
Skilled at translating complex ideas into clear narratives for executive audience
Strategic thinking with an ability to connect ideas to an overarching roadmap and vision; capable of synthesizing a disparate set of AI ideas into a coherent strategic story
Able to partner with MRM AI Governance and other stakeholders to reimagine and enhance the AI model approval process on an ongoing basis
