Job Summary
Overview
Title: Program Assistant
Location: Ladore
Reports To: Program Coordinator
Availability: 2 positions: 1) May 25 2026 Aug 7 2026 2) Aug. 3 2026 - Oct. 16 2026
Schedule: PT mostly Tue-Thu. Schedule may vary anytime between 8:00 am 8:00 pm rare weekend.
Salary and Grade: $15.00 per hour; 73
Responsibilities
Position Overview: Assist with planning preparing and the implementation of Senior Program activities
Description of Position:
- Assist with program set ups as needed.
- Assist with implementation of Ladore Senior Program.
- Lead small group activities as needed.
- Lead full group activities i.e. MC Talent Show as needed.
- Cover for the Program Coordinator in their absence.
- Conduct property tours
- Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must love working with people.
- Valid PA drivers license
- Experience working with older adults and older adult programming.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 35 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills
- Pennsylvanias Child Protective Services Law requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance PA State Police Criminal Record Check and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint addition completion of a Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is necessary prior to employment.
