Overview
Opportunity: Purchasing Assistant
Perform moderately complex data entry work to enter vendor data and maintain files and documentation.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain vendor files.
- Verify documentation.
- Monitor SOX Procedure compliance and system updates.
- Obtain W-9s manage document retention.
- Assist with issuing 1099s.
- Complete Credit Applications.
- Assist with setting up EFT / ACH accounts.
- Occasional responsibility for other purchasing functions.
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHMs EarthView program.
- Practice safe work habits.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Position Requirements
- Graduation from a high school or equivalent.
- Six months of experience performing data entry with accuracy.
- Knowledge of computer systems and/or spreadsheet applications.
- Skill in typing required.
- Ability to perform works which involves entering or verifying a variety of documents.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and perform with a high level of accuracy.
Work Environment and Context
- Required to sit for extended periods lift up to 10 pounds bend reach use hands and fingers to operate keyboard.
