Team & Opportunity

This roleleadsthe Northern (NSW and QLD)salesteam to drive growthacross Vanguards full product suitecomprisingmanagedfunds ETFs managedaccountsandSuperannuationand build enduringrelationshipwith advisers and wealthmanagers.It provides strategic leadership across new business developmentandnational account management while building strong senior stakeholder relationships and positioning Vanguards investment solutions effectively in the market. The roleisfocused ondevelopingand managing ahighperformingsales teamleveragingmarket and competitive insights tomaximiseopportunity and deliver sustainedresult.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead inspire and develop highperforming sales teams holding accountability for allpeopleleadership responsibilities while fosteringa strong performanceandvaluesdrivenculture.
  • Drive sales growth and retention outcomesby providing strategic directionover sales panelsandensuring disciplined execution ofsales pipeline andtargetsacross direct andthird partyplatforms.
  • Build and sustainseniorlevel relationshipsacross the advice ecosystemidentifyingopportunities and positioningVanguardssolutions.
  • Execute national account and business development plans leading BDM/BDA activity and ensuringobjectives strategies and actions are delivered measured and reported effectively.
  • Champion Vanguard in the marketleveragingdeep knowledge of products services and competitive dynamics to elevate brand awareness through presentations targeted prospecting and industry engagement.
  • Act asaprimary conduit for market insight translating adviser feedback into clear prioritiesfor the business.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Financial Services experience including10 years in senior client/prospect relationships and a strongtrack recordin adviser sales.

  • Strong leadership maturityevidencedby sound judgementthe ability to set direction and lead teams through changewhiledeliveringcommercial and client outcomes.

  • Strong senior stakeholder capability building trusted relationships withbusinessleaders both externally and within Vanguard.

  • Deep investment and market expertise complemented by RG146 qualification strong competitive awareness and confident executive presence and leadership skills.
