Forklift Operator Second and Third Shifts

Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs tasks or duties as required; and must be able to work their bid shift overtime and weekends as required.

The tasks required but not limited to are general housekeeping clean up sweeping vacuuming painting lubrication (oiling greasing etc.) sample retrieval power washing lifting and hauling items up and down stairs dumping of rework operate a motorized forklift and other duties as assigned by supervision.

1. Keep lines stocked with packaging materials so line can maintain maximum line efficiency
2. Remove finished product so line can maintain the maximum line efficiency
3. Fill out appropriate paper work required for this position
4. Knowledge of basic operation of equipment on line
5. Successfully and safely operate forklifts
6. Successfully pass the appropriate qualification test for the area in which the Production Worker is assigned

There are multiple second shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm) third shift (10:30pm - 7:00am) openings.  Overtime weekends and some holidays will be required.  Third shift runs Sunday - Thursday (plus OT).

Qualifications :

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience:  Previous relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment

Equipment/Software Skills:  Basic computer knowledge - data entry

5. Must be willing and able to learn various positions
6. Must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies

Additional Information :

Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds climb stairs lift bend kneel stand for long periods of time; work in confined spaces and work with heights.

This position starts at a training rate of $20.00/hr.  Once qualified the Production Worker rate is $25.66/hr.
