Technician Production Support

We are  recruiting  Application Production Support for Cash Equities Execution APS.

In this role you will gain invaluable experience with modern financial markets stock exchanges organizations and algorithmic high frequency trading technology. You will work on innovative low-latency technology alongside top specialists in the field developing skills related to system management and monitoring. This position offers a unique opportunity to deeply understand and influence the technologies that drive financial markets today.

Main Tasks

• Support and monitor the cash equities execution platform to ensure stability and optimal performance                                                             
• Build and enhance monitoring to prevent and quickly resolve issues.                                                    
• Deploy production changes with precision ensuring minimal disruption to services and maintaining the integrity of the platform.                                                           
• Work closely with traders developers and other stakeholders to implement continuous process improvements.                                                              
• Manage incident including detailed analysis and reporting to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications :

• Application support experience                                              
• Core Unix/Linux skills
• Knowledge of network technologies and protocols specifically TCP and UDP
• Scripting skills (Unix/Linux shell Python Perl for scripting any other programming language e.g. C C Java)
• Basic SQL knowledge   
• SLog management: Splunk ELK Gray log Loki
• Network monitoring: Corvil
• Databases: Oracle PostgreSQL MySQL/Maria DB KDB/q 
• Messaging: Tibco Solace IBM MQ LBM Kafka
• Observability and monitoring: ITRS Geneos Dynatrace Prometheus Grafana
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as ITRS Geneos Dynatrace Prometheus Grafana.
