EAME Production Manager Veg Seeds
Job Summary
Join Syngenta as our Regional Production Manager for Large Seed Vegetable Roots & Bulbs and play a key role in delivering high-quality vegetable seeds across the EAME region. This leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to manage seed production operations worth $15m working with a talented team of professionals and building strong partnerships with growers and suppliers across Europe Africa and the Middle East. Youll be part of a global network collaborating with colleagues in R&D Quality Supply Chain and Commercial teams to ensure we deliver the right seeds at the right quality quantity time and price to meet our customers needs. Based in the region youll have the autonomy to shape production strategies while contributing to Syngentas mission of helping feed the world sustainably.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire regional seed production teams across EAME
- Manage relationships with growers suppliers and production partners
- Develop and execute production plans that meet business goals
- Oversee budgets and investment plans to optimize costs and quality
- Drive continuous improvement in production processes and sustainability
- Ensure compliance with health safety environmental and quality standards
- Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and solve challenges
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Build team capability through coaching development and succession planning
- Support new product introductions and business growth initiatives
Qualifications :
- Degree in agriculture business or related field (Masters preferred)
- Experience leading teams and managing agricultural or production operations
- Knowledge of seed production farming operations or vendor management
- Strong business acumen with financial and analytical skills
- Fluent English with ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Results-driven mindset with customer focus
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving
- Experience driving change and continuous improvement
- Passion for agriculture and sustainable food production
