Responsibilities
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety
Operate mammography equipment and maintain image quality standards
Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
Review physician orders and patient history for accuracy
Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
Educate patients on procedures and address concerns
Experience Requirements
Previous experience in mammography required
Strong knowledge of imaging procedures and patient care
Education & Certifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
ARRT (Mammography) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
State licensure as required (Georgia)
