Retail Operations Data Analyst Intern

As a Retail Operations Data Analyst Intern you will support the Retail Operations team by assisting in the development maintenance and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and reporting tools. This internship is projectbased and designed to provide exposure to retail operations enterprise reporting and datadriven decisionmaking within a fastpaced consumerfocused business.

Interns will spend time partnering with crossfunctional stakeholders learning how retail data is translated into actionable insights and delivering analysis that helps inform operational performance efficiency and execution.

Based in Peets Home Office in Emeryville CA- we require all employees to work onsite 3 days per week. This is a part-time paid internship at $25.00/hrand will require a30hours/week commitment from June 8-August 7 2026.

What You Will Do:

As a Retail Operations Data Analyst Intern you will:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports that support Retail Operations decisionmaking
• Support business analytics by collecting cleaning and analyzing multisource data to identify trends and deliver actionable insights
• Create clear effective data visualizations that communicate insights to technical and nontechnical audiences
• Collaborate with Retail Operations partners to understand reporting needs and translate business questions into analytical solutions
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy consistency and reliability of reporting outputs
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of datarelated issues across reports and dashboards
• Stay current on Power BI features enhancements and best practices applying learnings to improve reporting effectiveness
• Document processes definitions and methodologies to support scalable and repeatable data analysis and reporting

Who You Are:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics Business Analytics Information Systems Operations Economics or a related field
• Comfortable working with data and eager to learn how analytics supports retail and operational decisionmaking
• Familiar with or interested in Power BI data visualization and reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail with an interest in data accuracy and governance
• Able to organize document and communicate analytical work clearly
• Curious collaborative and motivated to learn in a handson teambased environment
• Able to balance multiple tasks and timelines in a projectbased setting

Internship Experience

This internship includes project work daytoday collaboration with Retail Operations team members and exposure to how data supports store operations at scale. Interns may also participate in broader program engagement opportunities designed to build business acumen professional skills and connections across Peets.
