Logistics Operative Nights

• Contract Type: Permanent / 40 hours per week
• Salary: 30995 - increasing to 32495 on completion of relevant MHE training
• Hours of Work: 16:30 to 01:00 (Saturday and Sunday hours are 15:00 to 23:30)
• Shift Patterns Available: Sunday to Thursday / Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday

DPD Logistics are a fulfilment warehouse; we hold stock for a number of key customers at our site in Tamworth and as a Logistics Operative you will be required to pick and pack to meet consumer demand.  

This is a fast-paced physical role and you will be on your feet all shift but as a warehouse operative you will  be the backbone of our logistics operation playing an important role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service. Key duties include;

• Loading and unloading scanning picking and packing parcels with precision.
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!).
• Using our tech to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time.
• Operation of different Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to including Counter Balance Flexi Trucks and Man Riders 

Youll receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE
