Our client a leading Fortune 200 energy and utilities company is seeking an experienced IT Project/Program Manager to provide formalized leadership and work direction to assigned teams while ensuring timely and effective project execution. This role involves planning and directing the installation of Information Technology projects that typically impact multiple business areas with a focus on delivering IT capabilities and solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide formalized leadership and continuing work direction to assigned teams ensuring timely and effective project execution
Lead and coordinate technology projects with business partners to deliver IT capabilities and solutions aligned with enterprise objectives
Plan and direct the installation of Information Technology projects across multiple business areas
Develop detailed work plans schedules project estimates resource plans and status reports
Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources budgets risks and changes
Manage stakeholder relationships and provide executive-level project oversight
Lead continuous improvement of IT governance frameworks
Ensure successful execution of project roadmaps budget management and stakeholder alignment while mitigating risks and optimizing resources
Oversee employee development coaching and ongoing performance management
Lead M365 implementations including SharePoint Teams OneDrive and Power Platform
Manage cloud-based collaboration tools and enterprise IT infrastructure projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration Project Management or a related field
6-10 years of experience leading IT projects managing cross-functional teams and overseeing technical implementations
Experience leading M365 implementations (SharePoint Teams OneDrive Power Platform)
Strong knowledge of cloud-based collaboration tools and enterprise IT infrastructure
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Proven ability to manage budgets resources and stakeholder relationships
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Agile project management methodologies
Background in IT governance and strategic planning
Financial forecasting experience
PMP or similar project management certification
