Estimator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Estimator to join our team on a full-time basis. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing detailed proposals to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates

- Collaborate with project managers architects and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates

- Conduct on-site visits to assess site conditions and identify potential issues

- Analyze and compare supplier and subcontractor bids to ensure the best pricing for materials and services

- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and proposals for clients

- Continuously monitor and update estimates as project details and scope changes

- Communicate with clients to address any questions or concerns regarding estimates

- Maintain accurate records of all estimates and bid documents

- Participate in project meetings to provide cost-related updates and recommendations

- Stay current on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

- 1-7years of experience in construction estimating preferably in the energy sector

- Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials

- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

- Proficient in using HeavyBid and Microsoft Office

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
