A well-established automotive workshop is seeking an experienced Quality Controller to join their dynamic service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles meet strict manufacturer (OEM) and dealership standards before release to customers.
This role requires strong technical ability attention to detail and a solid background in workshop diagnostics and inspection processes.
Minimum Requirements
Qualified Motor Technician (Trade Test Certificate) essential
Minimum 35 years experience in a workshop environment
Proven Quality Control / Final Inspection experience
Valid drivers license essential
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Key Responsibilities
Conduct final vehicle inspections prior to customer handover
Perform road tests to verify repairs and identify additional faults
Ensure all repair work complies with OEM standards
Identify and report substandard workmanship
Take corrective action to reduce workshop comebacks
Work closely with Workshop Controller and Service Advisors
Maintain accurate inspection and quality control records
Support overall workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction
