Were looking for a talented Kotlin / Java Microservices Developer to join our team in Amsterdam on a 6-month contract (ASAP start).

Role Overview
As a Developer you will design and build scalable microservices using Kotlin Java and Spring Boot contributing to high-performance cloud-based applications. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain microservices using Kotlin Java and Spring Boot
Design scalable high-performance backend systems
Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define technical solutions
Ensure code quality performance and security best practices
Participate in deployments and support CI/CD processes
Work within cloud environments particularly Azure Local

Required Skills & Experience

810 years of software development experience
Strong expertise in Java microservices development
Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot
Solid understanding of Kafka and event-driven architectures
Experience with microservices design patterns
Familiarity with Azure environments is a plus
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Location: Amsterdam Netherlands
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
