About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team in this role you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support ensuring seamless IT operations and enhancing end-user experience across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware software and network-related issues
- Install configure and maintain desktop systems laptops and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems both remotely and on-site
- Perform routine system maintenance updates and backups
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents configurations and solutions
- Develop and update knowledge base articles for common issues
- Deliver user training and guidance on IT systems and applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve complex issues
- Manage system security settings to protect against cyber threats
Required Skills & Experience
- 46 years of experience in Desktop Support / Infrastructure Services
- Strong knowledge of desktop management and IT support environments
- Experience with Windows OS hardware troubleshooting and networking basics
- Familiarity with ticketing tools and IT service management processes
- Good understanding of security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments
- Knowledge of Active Directory Office 365 and remote support tools
- IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A ITIL) are a plus
