About the role
We are seeking Technical Business Analysts (Reporting & Analytics) to support the uplift integration and decommissioning of legacy reporting solutions as part of Rio Tintos Modern ERP and data transformation journey. These roles play a critical part in transitioning reporting from ECC through BW/4HANA and into emerging analytics platforms enabling standardised sustainable and businessaligned reporting outcomes.
Working closely with technical delivery teams and business stakeholders you will lead analysis impact assessment and requirements definition across reporting and analytics initiatives. The focus is on ensuring business priorities are clearly understood risks are managed and reporting outcomes are aligned to enterprise standards architecture and longterm strategy.
About you
- Strong experience as a Technical or Reporting Business Analyst supporting reporting and analytics initiatives within large complex organisations
- Solid technical understanding of SAP reporting and data with experience across platforms such as ECC S/4HANA BW/4HANA or related analytics solutions
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear structured reporting and analytics outcomes working closely with technical delivery teams
- Experience performing impact assessments existing report analysis test planning defect management and UAT coordination
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across business technology and delivery teams
- A focus on standardisation governance and quality assurance with an eye toward scalable industrialised reporting solutions

Where youll be working
Youll join the Modern ERP Program a multidisciplinary team bringing together technology process data and change specialists to reshape how work happens across Rio Tinto. Were modernising a 20yearold ERP system and redesigning core business processes to improve safety efficiency and ignite innovation.
This work supports our people across global operations to spend less time on transactional tasks and more time on work that really matters. By simplifying and digitising how the organisation runs the Modern ERP Program is creating the foundation for future productivity gains smarter decisionmaking and AIenabled transformation.
