Larrys (Heritage Hospitality) located in The Lawrence House in Uptown is looking to hire a part-time seasonal patio bartender.

Location: Larrys at The Lawrence House 1020 W Lawrence Ave Chicago IL 60640

Schedule: Part-time

• May 22nd 2026 thru September 6th 2026
• Fridays Saturdays & Sundays
• All shifts are weather-pending as the work area is outside.

Compensation: $12.62/hr tips

Requirements

• Prepare serve and understand a menu of cocktails spirits beer seltzer cider wine & non-alcoholic options in accordance with Heritage Hospitalitys standards & recipes and local compliance guidelines.
• Educate guests on offerings with professionalism and accuracy.
• Manage flow behind the bar and maintain a clean organized service area.
• Ensure compliance with ID verification and serving procedures.
• Operation of the Square point-of-sale system and accurate handling of cash & card transactions.
• Monitor stock and communicate needs of product inventory.
• Execution of opening and closing procedures.
• Perform side work as needed.

Qualifications

• While experience as a bartender isnt required for this role at least 1 year working in hospitality is helpful. This role is great for those that would like to gain experience as a bartender and can commit to a full season. College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have or obtain a valid BASSET and Food Handler certification.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and reach bend and comfortably lift up to 55 lbs.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and maintain a calm & professional demeanor with reliability honesty and integrity.
• Must be comfortable working solo & as a team player.
• Must be able to communicate and write clearly in English; Spanish is a plus
