Business Intelligence Engineer, CORS Analytics

Global Solution and Risk Compliance (GSRC) accelerates Amazons business growth and marketplace presence at scale and speed through its diverse global teams using high-quality solutions to solve regulatory and business problems.
CORS a part of GSRC develops automations that accelerate the work of GSRC associates by surfacing targeted information required for completing a task directly into their browser window. We improve productivity by decluttering information available across multiple systems and displaying the relevant ones for making a correct decision. CORS-Analytics develops business intelligence (BI) capabilities to uncover people product and operational insights thereby enabling GSRC in data-driven decision-making. Our BI solutions (dashboards reports data pipelines etc.) allow GSRC to track the health of business operations across the organization. We perform complex analyses on relevant data sources to help our customers with strategic planning uncovering of latent trends and identification and mitigation of risks.
Leveraging AWS cloud services and artificial intelligence we augment our analytics capabilities to deliver insights and efficient solutions. Our team builds and deploys AI agents that enable self-service analytics and intelligent information discovery empowering GSRC associates with automated data-driven decision support tools. Through the integration of AI and machine learning were transforming how data is accessed analyzed and acted upon across the organization.


Key job responsibilities
Core Development & Implementation

- Design and implement AI-augmented BI solutions and advanced analytics capabilities combining traditional data mining with machine learning for both descriptive and predictive analytics
- Create and optimize data pipelines using AWS services (Lambda S3 Glue) for real-time data processing
- Design and deploy AI agents and conversational interfaces enabling self-service analytics and automated insights discovery

Analysis & Problem Solving

- Analyze complex business problems using AI-powered analytics tools to uncover hidden patterns and relationships in data
- Conduct deep dive analyses and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership
- Produce actionable insights combining traditional BI and AI-generated analytics for metric development and reporting

Infrastructure & Integration

- Partner with Data Engineering to enhance data infrastructure and implement AI/ML pipelines
- Design intelligent automation solutions for streamlining reporting audits and other data-driven activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions while ensuring scalability and performance

Governance & Best Practices

- Develop and maintain best practices for data integrity consistency and documentation including MLOps practices
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security requirements
- Stay current with emerging technologies in AI/ML data science and cloud computing



- 2 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience
- Knowledge of how to improve code quality and optimizes BI processes (e.g. speed cost reliability)
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel Tableau QuickSight MicroStrategy PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g. Python Java or R)

- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis co-relation analysis
- Experience building and deploying AI Agents in production environments
