Job Summary

Your role as a Customer Service Officer puts you in the drivers seat of our service delivery giving you the autonomy to do what you do best - helping customers achieve their banking goals.

Whether youre assisting customers with transactions educating them about our online platforms or recommending products and services that best suit their needs youll value how it feels to make a difference in peoples lives.

In this dynamic and high-impact role youll make your mark by:

Exploring customers needs through in-depth conversations to help them achieve their financial goals and partnering with different specialists within the branch
Keeping up with constant change. Youll support our customers with their digital literacy and online banking needs as we continue to innovate our offerings
Being the face of the branch and customer service. Become our customers go-to person for anything from processing transactions handling cash investigating queries or assisting with paperwork all while keeping risk considerations at the forefront

This is a Permanent Full-time opportunity based primarily in Maryborough on occasion may be required in our Avoca Community Bank. The roster is 76 hours per fortnight.

To succeed in this role youll consistently deliver exceptional customer service. Wed love you to have:

  • Experience in customer service environment and the ability to achieve targets
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure secure accurate transactions with a risk mindset
  • Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone
  • Eagerness to understand and communicate what makes our bank different
  • Drive for collaboration - mateship is crucial for us to work together and achieve our goals
  • Experience in the banking and finance industry is a plus but certainly not essential
