A leading healthcare facility is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The RN will provide specialized care to critically ill cardiac patients ensuring high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care to critically ill cardiovascular patients
Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms
Administer medications including IV drips and vasoactive agents
Manage ventilators and advanced life support equipment
Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Respond rapidly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Patient Population
Post-cardiac surgery patients
Cardiac and vascular critical care cases
High-acuity ICU patients
Experience Requirements
Previous CVICU or critical care experience required
Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and ICU protocols
Licensure & Certifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required (State of Ohio or compact)
Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA required
Schedule & Work Details
12-hour shifts (Day or Night options available)
3 days per week (36 hours/week)
Rotating schedule based on unit needs
