Position Title: Sterile Processing Technician (Travel)
Location: Portland Oregon
Shift: Night Shift 5x8-hour shifts (11:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Friday Tuesday (Block Schedule)
Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper decontamination sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment to support safe and efficient surgical operations.

Responsibilities:
Perform decontamination cleaning assembly sterilization and storage of surgical instruments and equipment
Operate sterilization equipment including steam sterilizers washers and ultrasonic cleaners
Inspect instruments for cleanliness functionality and defects
Prepare and assemble surgical trays according to established standards
Maintain accurate documentation and instrument tracking using hospital systems
Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments

Qualifications:
Minimum travel experience required as a Sterile Processing Technician
Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures and industry standards
Experience with Sterile Processing Management (SPM) systems preferred
Experience with robotic surgical instruments preferred
