Job Summary
GARNEY CONSTRUCTION
AConcrete Finisher Foremanposition is available at Garney. The Concrete Finisher Foreman leads concrete crews through all phases of placing finishing and curing concrete for structural and flatwork projects. This role is responsible for making sure the job is done right on plan and safely while working hands-on with finishers and laborers to keep production moving and quality high.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Supervise daily concrete placement and finishing operations
- Operate and direct use of hand and power finishing tools
- Coordinate labor equipment and materials with site leadership
- Lead safety briefings and enforce PPE and safe work practices
- Train and mentor concrete finishers and apprentices
- Monitor weather and site conditions to adjust pours and curing methods
- Maintain daily reports documentation and crew time records
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Expert knowledge of concrete placement finishing curing and repair methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints grades and finish requirements
- Proven experience leading crews and coordinating work to meet production goals
- Strong focus on jobsite safety quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Proficient with hand and power concrete finishing tools and equipmentHigh school diploma or GED (Required)
- 5 years of handson concrete finishing experience (Required)
- 1 year in a foreman or supervisory role (Preferred)
- OSHA 30 certification (Preferred or ability to obtain upon hire)
