Job Summary
Apt Resources is seeking a QHSE Engineer (Quality Health Safety and Environment) to join our clients team in the power solutions sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with quality health safety and environmental standards across the organizations operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and monitor QHSE policies procedures and programs in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections risk assessments and audits to ensure workplace safety and quality compliance.
- Coordinate incident investigations root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Promote a strong safety culture through employee training and awareness programs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and environmental regulations.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to QHSE performance and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a QHSE role preferably in the power generation or related industries.
- Familiarity with ISO standards such as ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Strong knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Certification in QHSE or related areas is an advantage.
