Operations Vendor Analyst Delivery Service

This position shares in the responsibility of the procurement of third-party couriers to be used to supplement our in-house fleet of delivery vehicles. This person will be assigned Sherwin-Williams Districts based upon geographic location for which they will be solely responsible for managing relationships with vendors completing final mile deliveries on behalf of Sherwin Williams stores. They will work with the Districts to ensure that carrier selection is made according to the sites needs quality of service cost and commitments.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. This role is not hybrid/remote and will report to our Cleveland Hinckley Parkway location.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage daily executionofthird-partyfinal mile courier deliveries: store to store and store to customer.
• Manageapproximately40 third-party couriervendor relationships and$60MMin expenses.
• Continuallysolicitnewcouriersto ensure adequate availability and best cost options.
• Negotiate freight and assessorial rates for all vendors managed.
• Support the onboarding andintegrationprocesses with thelogisticssoftware companyandfreight pay provider.
• Provide daily support fordeliveryservicepartnersand stores.
• Monitor service levelsandeffectivelyidentifyKPIs
• Build and generatecourier financial andoperationalperformancereports tooptimizebusinessprocesses.
• Continuous process improvements that drive efficiencyacrossall job functions.
• General ad hoc tasks reports and projects relating tothird-party couriersand the Local Courier Delivery Program.

Position Requirements

Required:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
• 1 years of experience ina logisticsorsupply chainrole
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with businesspartners
• Ability to exceed performance expectations and to meet department andcompanygoals
• Ability to work in a team-oriented collaborativeenvironment

• Procurement experience
