Youll work with cutting-edge technologies likeaudio processing audio streaming and audio our core codebase is inC we also leverageRust and Python and actively engage with open-source components and standards such asGStreamer and Pipewire.

What will you do here

You will join our development team focusing onnetwork audio key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing software features for our innovative products.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues from our internal applications to open-source components.
• Collaborating effectively with other teams across Axis.

As anEmbedded Software Engineerat Axis youll play a vital role in shaping our next generation of products.

You confidently express your ideas while alsolistening attentively and respecting your colleagues areaccountableandtake great pride in your work and accomplishments.

Were looking for someone who brings:

• Solid experience as a Software Developer with expertise in C and Embedded Linux.
• Or you are a recent graduate passionate about programming eager to learn and grow in this field.

Bonus points if you have experience or interest in any of the following:

• Gstreamer ALSA or Pipewire
• Working in a Linux environment
• REST APIs and Open APIs
• Git and Yocto/BitBake
• Network programming and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP RTP HTTP WebSocket)
• Agile development methodologies
