What Youll Do

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join our team and lead the operations across three shifts in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles working closely with the Management Team to drive initiatives to the plant floor and maintaining a workplace that adheres to 5S standards.

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for the day-to-day operations ensuring seamless production across three shifts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes minimize downtime and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices to streamline processes reduce waste and improve overall productivity.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives fostering a culture of Kaizen 5 Whys and value stream mapping.
• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge automation technologies to enhance production capabilities and improve overall manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with the technology team to identify evaluate and implement automation solutions that align with business goals.
• Support the Manufacturing Teams that supervise and schedule the company. Offer direction and make decisions on questions relating to manufacturing.
• Ensure that the manufacturing process operates within budget. Review/recommend/approve purchases/AFEs associated with the facility. Monitor scrap/reject data communicate with staff and assist in cost control efforts.
• Directly supervise activities of the Manufacturing Facility and provide direction to the Manufacturing Supervisors on all 3 shifts.

What Youll Need

• Bachelors degree in related field.
• Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with lean manufacturing automation technologies and 5S principles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment; No special requirements or restrictions.
