The Political Science Department Office is looking for a work study student to join our team for Spring 2026.

Department: Political Science

Location: Lippman Hall

Supervisors name: Bella Rodriguez

Hours/Shifts Available: M-F 8:30-4:30

Rate of Pay: $9.70/hr

Number of Positions available: 1

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide clerical support to administrative assistant and department faculty
Assist with copying scanning receiving and sorting mail
Department Marketing: help create social media posts and marketing materials to advertise department courses/events and post materials around campus

Qualifications:

Current Union College Student
Basic knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google applications
Knowledge of Canva or Adobe Express (or other applications) to create social media posts and flyers
Communication skills
Adaptability to changing demands based on office traffic

Location: Schenectady NY
