Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity PT AHK Testing Indonesia who is looking for a Technical Supervisor to join our team. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals minerals and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing sampling and analysis.

The Technical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and strengthening the technical integrity of laboratory operations ensuring all analytical methods instrumentation and quality processes align with industry best practices. This role focuses on technical governance and method reliability while supporting operational teams to resolve constraints impacting turnaround time (TAT). DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Strong understanding of laboratory quality systems and method validation principles.
• In-depth knowledge of instrument performance calibration and maintenance systems.
• Understanding of basic mineral preparation and analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address technical bottlenecks.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Excel LIMS).
• Understanding of laboratory health and safety (K3) implementation and technical compliance.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to laboratory personnel.

Required Work Experience

• Minimum 35 years of experience in mineral laboratories mining or similar industries.
• Proven experience in laboratory operations sample analysis and instrumentation management.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and technical coordination for laboratory procurement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet turnaround time (TAT) deadlines under pressure.
