Job Summary

Vall dHebron Hospital within the framework of the Health Services Research Group is seeking a Health Services Analyst to analyse interpret and support the dissemination and publication of data related to healthcare management interventions.

Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Identify available data sources and generate actionable insights to support structural or management changes.

  • Perform statistical analyses and interpret results to support the continuous improvement of hospital management indicators.

  • Search for scientific evidence and contribute to discussions on studies focused on improving healthcare activity.

  • Participate in the production of scientific articles demonstrating the impact of continuous improvement strategies and implemented strategic projects.

  • Prepare scientific communications on the results derived from the implementation of new programmes or organisational models.

Education and qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelors degree in Sciences preferably in Health Sciences Engineering Mathematics Statistics or related fields.

Desirable:
  • Masters degree in Data Analytics or Data Science.

  • Fluency in Catalan Spanish

Experience and knowledge:
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of information systems and business intelligence or statistical tools such as SQL and R.

  • Experience in data analysis within the healthcare sector.

Labour conditions:

  • Working hours: Full-time (375 hours per week).

  • Starting date: As soon as possible.

  • Gross annual salary: 28.25156.

  • Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities
