Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Work Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
Location: Fortuna CA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide high-quality perioperative care in a surgical setting. The ideal candidate will support surgical teams ensure patient safety and maintain sterile environments throughout procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care before during and after surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and sterile instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures (circulating and/or scrubbing as required)
- Monitor patient condition and respond to intraoperative needs
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with surgical and interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
- Minimum experience in Operating Room setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Certifications:
- BLS certification required
- ACLS preferred
