Job Summary/Description:

WECT is looking for a passionate meteorologist to join our experienced market-leading First Alert Weather Team.

Youll help us forecast and track weather in the Cape Fear region which can range from gorgeous and sunny to severe in every season. Each day youll contribute to our broadcast and digital platforms including our livestreams social media WECT Weather App and .

To excel in our team is to consistently produce and deliver dynamic compelling and understandable forecasts and explainers support our First Alert philosophy and cover severe weather in an urgent yet reassuring way.
