The Position
Our Global Internship Programme in Innovation & Sustainability (#IP2TIS) offers a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while making a positive impact on the world.

As an intern you will contribute to Project Ocularis a strategic initiative designed to build a digital-first engagement model for Ophthalmology in Brazil. The project aims to integrate scientific education and commercial outreach through digital channels reducing reliance on travel-heavy field interactions while increasing the reach quality and personalization of engagement with healthcare professionals. Within your first 3 months you are expected to help map successful digital engagement strategies from Roche affiliates worldwide adapt relevant practices to the Brazilian market support the rollout of digital initiatives and co-author a Digital First Playbook for Specialized Markets. Your work will support Roches sustainability strategy by helping reduce travel-related emissions and expanding access to scientific and commercial engagement for healthcare professionals across Brazil including underserved areas. This internship offers a globally visible opportunity to shape digital transformation contribute to more equitable health outcomes and support a more sustainable operating model.
The Opportunity
Map analyze and document successful digital engagement strategies from Roche affiliates globally
Adapt international digital practices to the Brazilian market context with a focus on channels such as WhatsApp targeted webinars and digital content hubs
Act as a project manager for the Digital First rollout coordinating across commercial medical and digital teams
Support the design and implementation of virtual peer-to-peer boards for healthcare professionals
Track and measure key performance indicators related to digital healthcare professional engagement and geographical reach
Assist in monitoring the projects sustainability impact including reductions in physical travel and related emissions
Co-author the Digital First Playbook for Specialized Markets documenting strategy execution and outcomes
Prepare and deliver presentations to share project milestones and Playbook insights with international Roche stakeholders
Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Masters or PhD studies at a university preferably in the field of Business Administration Digital Marketing Strategy & Innovation International Business Communications or Healthcare Management within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months.
Furthermore you are
Familiar with project management tools such as Trello Asana Jira or Smartsheet
Knowledgeable about digital marketing omnichannel engagement CRM systems such as Veeva or Salesforce and digital communication tools such as Webex Zoom or WhatsApp Business
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace especially presentation design and basic KPI tracking in Excel or Google Sheets
A strategic and structured thinker who works well across functions and communicates confidently with global stakeholders
Fluent in English and in Portuguese or Spanish
