Tasks

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Routing & Switching and hands-on experience in VMware NSX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure ensuring high availability performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and support enterprise-level network infrastructure
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for Routing & Switching environments
• Configure and manage Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches
• Implement and manage VMware NSX and Distributed Firewall (DFW)
• Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime and reliability
• Collaborate with infrastructure security and application teams
• Maintain network documentation configurations and best practices
• Support network security initiatives including segmentation and firewall policies

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Routing & Switching (expert level)
• Strong expertise in:
• Cisco Catalyst switches
• Cisco Nexus switches
• Hands-on experience with:
• VMware NSX
• Distributed Firewall (DFW)
• Solid understanding of network design protocols and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have:

• Exposure to DNS (Domain Name System) concepts and management
• Basic understanding of SD-WAN technologies
• Experience in enterprise or data center environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CCNP CCIE VMware NSX or equivalent
• Experience with network automation or scripting (Python Ansible etc.)
