JOB TITLE: Accounting Associate

This role will train under all areas of the Accounting department and provide assistance to the Controller.

Job Responsibilities:

The Accounting Associate will play a crucial role in our financial operations ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities. This position involves managing financial records reconciling accounts and supporting the preparation of financial statements. The Accounting Associate will collaborate with various teams to maintain financial integrity and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting tasks including but not limited to accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements credit card transactions and other general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support decision-making processes.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
• Assist projects as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting/finance or working towards degree.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
