The Strategic Procurement Office is seeking an experienced Change Management Specialist to support a large-scale multi-stream transformation initiative under the PST Program.
This role focuses on driving business-side change ensuring stakeholders are prepared engaged and equipped to adopt new processes tools and ways of working. You will collaborate closely with program leadership business stakeholders subject matter experts and technical teams to design and deliver structured change strategies that enable successful adoption and long-term value realization.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of the change management strategy for the PST initiative
Conduct stakeholder and impact assessments to identify change impacts and readiness gaps
Develop and execute communication engagement and readiness plans
Create high-quality training materials including:
Presentations
Facilitator guides
Job aids and quick reference guides
Process documentation and FAQs
Plan and coordinate training delivery (audience identification scheduling delivery methods)
Develop clear professional communications for diverse stakeholder groups including leadership and program teams
Facilitate workshops working sessions and stakeholder engagement activities
Translate technical changes into business-friendly messaging and user-focused materials
Track change activities risks issues and dependencies; provide regular status updates
Support pilot and full-scale rollout planning and execution
Measure and monitor change adoption training effectiveness and stakeholder readiness
Ensure alignment with public sector governance standards and program roadmap
Required Qualifications
7 years of experience in change management roles applying structured methodologies
7 years of experience developing training materials and end-user documentation
7 years of experience creating effective stakeholder communication materials
Proven experience supporting large-scale transformation or program implementations
Location: Edmonton Alberta (Onsite Oxbridge Place)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:15 AM 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Work Model: Primarily onsite
