AWS Cloud Data Developer with

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our growing team.
• You will play a key role in designing developing and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines for our cloudbased applications.
• You will leverage your expertise in Nodejs Expressjs AWS services and NoSQL databases to build robust data solutions that support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion transformation and processing
• Develop Nodejs Expressjs backend APIs with comprehensive unit testing to ensure functionality and reliability
• Utilize AWS Lambda serverless functions to handle eventdriven tasks and optimize resource utilization
• Implement and manage NoSQL databases including DynamoDB MongoDB and Elasticsearch for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Optional Design and deploy containerized applications using AWS EKS for scalability and manageability
• Optional Provision and manage AWS resources including EC2 instances S3 buckets API Gateway endpoints SQS queues SES email services and Pinpoint for user engagement
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams DevOps Data Science etc to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using infrastructure as code IaC tools
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and system health
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in cloud technologies and data engineering best practices

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience as a Cloud Data Engineer or related role
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in Nodejs and Expressjs for backend development with experience in unit testing frameworks eg Jest Mocha
• Experience with AWS Lambda functions and serverless architectures
• Expertise in NoSQL databases including DynamoDB MongoDB and Elasticsearch
• Optional Experience with AWS EKS for container orchestration
• Optional Experience with additional AWS services such as EC2 S3 API Gateway SQS SES and Pinpoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crossfunctional team
• Passion for learning and staying current with new technologies
