Job Summary
Description:
1st shift (7am-3pm) Glass Line
Bill Rate: $18.43
Positions will require mandatory Overtime. Will be working 6-7 days a week. Overtime can be in the form of weekly OT not just weekend.
Job Responsibilities
Perform manufacturing processes for the production of plastic pour bottles.
Perform and document line clearances.
Verify correctness of material.
Load empty gaylords on production line to be filled with plastic pour bottles.
Pack plastic pour bottles into empty gaylords cover and ensure proper labeling of product.
Inspect bottle and gasket assembly.
Report abnormalities and corrective action to shift leader/supervision.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
Able to complete documentation legibly and per procedure.
Audiometric testing and hearing protection required.
Learn understand and apply rigorous quality standards Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety quality mechanical or
discrepancy issues occur.
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend stoop and climb ladders.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift push pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to lift above the shoulder.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma required. Additional technical experience training or education a plus.
Basic mathematical skills and computer skills required.
