Job Summary
Duties:
- Plan and Develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance.
- Monitor performance for patient care assess units w with nurse managers and communicates and assists w with any corrective action.
- Develop Record keeping system to record medication errors/counselling.
Skills:
- Seven (7) years of experience is required
- Five (5) of which were in a supervisory role.
- Under the supervision of a Director of Nursing provides frontline Medical/Surgical leadership at the unit level for one or more units.
- This is for an Associate DON position
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accreditated Nursing Program.
- Masters degree in Nursing. - preferred
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- RN License.
- Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
- BLS.
