Position Overview
Tekberry is looking for a Computing Support Analyst 2 to support our client Stanford University within their University IT (UIT) Computer Resource Consulting (CRC) team. This role serves as a field technical consultant delivering high-quality IT support and ensuring a seamless technology experience for faculty researchers and staff.
Responsibilities - Provide expert technical support via in-person phone email and chat
- Troubleshoot hardware software network and system issues (Windows & Mac)
- Manage and update tickets using ServiceNow
- Coordinate delivery and setup of IT equipment and peripherals
- Support infrastructure projects (network upgrades desk setups testing)
- Analyze trends and recommend improvements to IT services
- Maintain and contribute to internal knowledge base and documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders vendors and internal IT teams
Required Qualifications - Associates degree 2 years of relevant IT support experience (or equivalent)
- Strong experience with Windows & Mac OS environments
- Knowledge of networking hardware and enterprise software support
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- Familiarity with MDM tools (Jamf Intune)
- Experience with Active Directory SSO MFA/Duo
- Knowledge of endpoint security tools (CrowdStrike encryption tools)
- Certifications such as CompTIA A Microsoft Apple or ITIL
Work Environment & Physical Requirements - Fully onsite role (5 days/week)
- Frequent walking across campus to support users
- Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 40 lbs)
- Standard office and technical support environment
