Job Summary

Job Summary:

This role is for a CVOR Tech responsible for assisting in cardiovascular operating room procedures. The position involves circulating and scrubbing working with adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The tech will participate in a variety of surgeries including valve replacements CABG and robotic thoracic surgeries.

Location:Winston Salem North Carolina United States

Responsibilities:

- Circulating during surgical procedures.
- Scrubbing for surgical procedures.
- Assisting with a variety of cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.
- Maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Setting up and preparing surgical equipment.
- Ensuring proper handling of specimens.
- Documenting procedures and patient information accurately.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- BCLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Circulate experience
- Scrub experience

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- CNOR certification
- Scrub certification

Special Considerations:

- RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
- Call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in cancellation and DNR.
- Must be available for call 10 days per month including one weekend per month.

Scheduling:
- 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 0630 to 1700.
