Job Summary

Position: ECM Troubleshooting Engineer

Work Location: Columbus IN

Salary: 105K/Annum

Duration: Permanent/Fulltime

Job Description:

The onsite engineer would be responsible for the

Experience in automotive electronics troubleshooting

Strong understanding of auto Engine Control Modules (ECMs) and related subsystems

Proficiency in reading and interpreting; Electrical schematics Wiring diagrams

Experience working with Auto ECUs/ECMs validation or field return analysis

Hands-on experience with lab equipment: Oscilloscopes Digital mustimeters Power supplies and electronic loads

Ability to diagnose Component-level failures electrical issues Thermal-related faults

Experience using diagnostic tools (e.g. CAN analysers)

Strong root cause analysis capability: (5-Why Fishbone fault isolation)

Ability to Recreate failures in lab environments & work independently

Ability to read logs and correlate software behaviour with hardware issues

Effective communication with design manufacturing and quality teams

Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

Qualification:

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Electronics Engineering

or equivalent hands-on experience in automotive electronics)
