We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead a large complex Anti Money Laundering (AML) transformation program centered on NICE Actimize solutions for a financial services client. The program involves analysis design implementation and rollout of AML systems regulations alignment data and operational change.
The Program Director will own end to end delivery manage a 20 member onsite team act as the primary senior client interface and ensure the program meets regulatory technology business and delivery objectives. This role requires deep financial services experience strong understanding of AML and compliance and proven success delivering Actimize or comparable AML platforms at scale.

Key Responsibilities
1. Program Leadership & Governance
- Own and drive overall program strategy execution and outcomes
- Establish and run program governance including:
- Steering Committee meetings
- Executive status updates
- Risk issue dependency and decision management
- Ensure alignment to regulatory expectations business goals and technology roadmaps
- Act as single point of accountability for the program
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary senior level interface to client stakeholders including:
- Compliance & AML leadership
- Operations heads
- Technology leadership
- Audit and Risk teams
- Build trusted relationships with client executives and regulators-facing teams
- Proactively manage expectations and resolve escalations
- Communicate complex issues clearly to non technical executives
3. AML & Actimize Program Oversight
- Lead implementation and enhancement of NICE Actimize AML products such as:
- IFM (Integrated Financial Messaging)
- CDD / KYC
- SAM (Suspicious Activity Monitoring)
- Transaction Monitoring
- Watchlist Filtering
- Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of:
- AML regulations (BSA AMLA FATF local/global regulations)
- SAR KYC CDD EDD requirements
- Oversee requirements solution design configuration tuning testing and deployment
- Ensure model governance validation readiness and audit defensibility
4. Delivery Management & Execution
- Manage a team of 20 onsite team (functional technical data QA PMs)
- Drive delivery across multiple workstreams:
- Business analysis
- Data integration
- Actimize configuration
- Testing (SIT UAT)
- Cutover and go live
- Own program plan milestones timelines and financials
- Track and manage:
- Scope
- Budget
- Resource utilization
- Delivery quality
- Ensure adherence to SDLC compliance and internal delivery standards
5. Risk Issue & Regulatory Readiness
- Identify and mitigate program risks related to:
- Data quality
- Model accuracy
- Regulatory compliance
- Operational readiness
6. Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead mentor and motivate a large onsite delivery team
- Set clear performance expectations and accountability
- Partner with offshore/nearshore teams if applicable
- Foster collaboration across compliance operations and technology teams
Required Qualifications
Experience
Experience
- 15 years of experience in Financial Services programs
- 7 years leading large-scale AML Compliance or Financial Crime programs
- Hands on experience with NICE Actimize implementations (mandatory)
Prior experience as:
- Program Director
- Engagement Director
- Senior Program Manager
Strong understanding of:
- AML regulations (BSA/AML FATF local regulators)
- KYC / CDD / EDD
- Transaction monitoring and SAR processes
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Executive level communication and stakeholder management
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to manage large complex multi stream programs
- Comfortable operating in high pressure regulatory environments
- Strong onsite presence and leadership
Education
- Bachelors degree required
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
